We all went crazy again this week, must be the heat !
A lovely bunch of ladies worked on Crazy Patchwork projects including padded hearts and cushion panels.
Two more crazy patchwork projects started on previous courses –
Christine’s lovely cushion – I think she’s a new crazy patchwork addict !
Tina called in to show me her (almost) completed pink cushion …
…I just love this, I was reluctant to let her take it away again !
Nicola emailed a photo of her completed embroidery stitch sampler which she started on my Beginner’s Embroidery course. It looks really effective in shades of brown and neutrals.
Sid and Arthur came on a rag rugging course recently and have really got hooked on the technique. The following two photos are the seat cover Sid has made…….
…..yes, men do do textiles ! I’m sure Ian won’t mind me posting this picture of him working on a rug at the Masham Sheep Fair a couple of years ago.
This weekend we are rag rugging at The Fabbadashery in Halifax, there are a couple of places available, contact the shop if you are interested. The course is ‘Hooked and Prodded Landscapes’, but you are welcome to make a rug rather than a hanging if you prefer.
