I have had such a busy couple of weeks I haven’t had chance to update my RaggedyAnnie blog. So, here goes !
The ‘courses’ section of my website has been updated. I had reached the end of the previous programme of courses I run from home, and have decided to do things a little differently this year.
Instead of having set dates for certain courses I have published a list of available courses which can be booked. If you have a group of between 2 and 6 people you can arrange a day or half day course on a mutually convenient day. Have a look at the list of sessions we are running !
Back at The Fabbadashery we have had a lively time, as usual ! The following pictures are from a day using Angie Lewin’s work as inspiration, creating panels using applique and embroidery …. works in progress ….
The Wednesday afternoon sessions at the shop have been lively get togethers. People bring something they are working on and enjoy a chat and a brew whilst being able to get help and advice on their projects. My friend ‘H’ has been working on some wonderful advent calendar stockings. She is embroidering and embellishing each little stocking before making them up. They will all then hang from a ribbon. Stunning !!
Jason has been busy with his knitting …..
…. Angela modelling Jason’s lovely wristwarmers …..
… I want some !!
Julie was working on her Angie Lewin inspired piece …
Angela has finished her piece …
We had a very busy session at the shop this weekend, rag rugging. Most of the people who attended were new to this, but everyone seemed to quickly pick up the techniques and start creating their own rugs, hangings and cushions.
Ella and Hannah were kept very busy cutting fabrics for everyone !! ….
